(Job #1573) BOOKKEEPER / ACCOUNTANT for multi-doctor Medical practice in Beverly Hills


JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for all financial and accounting activity in the practice.

Duties include maintaining financial records for the practice, which includes payable, payroll, budget, expense allocations, and reconciliation of checking and savings accounts.

Prepares monthly financial statements and reviews same with administrator.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Extensive accounting experience; college degree preferred.

Previous office experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations.

Strong computer background.

Medical experience preferred

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Computer literate with spreadsheet experience, excel.

Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of standard accounting principles and budgetary experience.

Ability to work as a team member.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Well-organized with attention to detail.

Trustworthy and bondable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administers accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner.

Develops reports on charges and receipts for the practice.

Produces management reports when requested

Experience in Excel, Quickbooks and Datafaction would be beneficial

Ability to record high volume of daily transactions on daily basis

Administrative Duties

Responsible for purchasing of office supplies under the direction of the administrator.

Coordinates inventory control with administrator.

Participates in regular staff meetings.

Communication

Communicates effectively with physicians, staff members and patients in an organized, professional and courteous manner.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

M-F  Work schedule – at least 2 days if not full time in office 9-6pm 

Salary starting at$65k with stro ng and competitive benefits package including Health, PTO, Parking and more!
