Temp Worker Tools

During your time as a Temporary Worker with Marilyn Taylor Medical Personnel, Inc. agency,

you are an employee of the Agency. This means...

  • Strong communication is CRUCIAL! Things work best when we all stay in touch - always keep us in the loop :)
  • Contacts: Be sure you always have the Agency's daytime and after-hours numbers with you - put them in your phone.
  • Your Phone You are responsible for having a working phone with your voicemail set up and capable of taking messages so we can reach you.
  • Messages: If we reach out to you by phone, email or text, please listen to or read the message first - then return the message at your next break.
  • Delay advisory: If you have any delays in arriving on time, must leave work early or if you cannot report for work, we must hear from you directly PRIOR TO THE START TIME.  If you haven't talked to a person - assume no one knows the situation.
  • Reimbursements: You must provide a receipt for reimbursement for any (pre-approved) expenses such as parking.
  • Timesheets: Email or text your signed time sheet to  Accounting@MarilynTaylorMed.com by Mondays at noon for that week's payroll run (Be advised that time sheets received after Monday noon will be payed on the next week's payroll.)
  • Workplace success: Maintain a professional appearance, be dependable, have good communication with supervisors, co-workers and patients. Be punctual, willing to assist with whatever is necessary within the office, and have a positive attitude.
  • Regulatory guidelines: Follow current Covid, HIPAA and OSHA best practices for the protection of yourself, coworkers and your work environment.
  • Issues: Alert the agency immediately of any question or issue so we can promptly assist you.
  • Payroll document access: When you onboard with MTMP, you will receive an email from ADP to create a log-in and password to access your payroll and tax documents.  Create the login and password within your first week of work.

Your Part

  • Payroll:

    • We run payroll Tuesday mornings, checks are deposited in your bank by Friday morning of the same week.
    • We pay your taxes, unemployment and work comp insurance. W-2s for your taxes are ready in January.
    • We provide direct access to your payroll and tax data through ADP giving you 24/7 access to your payroll information.
    • We are here for you if you have questions or need guidance during your job search.
  • Support: As your employer for a Temp position, if there are any issues at a job site, we need to hear about an issue from YOU FIRST, ASAP. Then we can support you or act on your behalf!
  • Permanent job access: While you are on a Temp job, if we have a permanent position elsewhere for which you are qualified, we will work to include you as a candidate for the permanent position. Timesheet - How to Print copies:

How to PRINT the Timesheet above:

1) Right mouse click (or long-press on smart phone) the image

2) Choose "Print" or "Save as PDF"

3) Be sure to print the Timesheet in "Landscape" mode (sideways) so it fills the printed page.

4) Neatly, IN READABLE PRINT, hand-write your personal information on your timecard

5)  Make a new copy to use each week.

6)  Take a copy with you to your work location (to document your time every day and get the signature of your supervisor each week).

How to Fill Out and Submit a weekly Timesheet:

> Begin a timesheet promptly when you report for work the first day of each week (starting Mondays)

> Ensure you have neatly filled out your personal and the office information at the top

> Document your hours as you arrive and depart each day - be specific - DO NOT ROUND and do not postpone documenting the information as you may forget (inaccurate time reporting could result in termination)

> Detail the duration of your lunch break each day (ie: 30 minutes, 1 hr...)

> If you near 8 hours in one day, you MUST get WRITTEN supervisor approval BEFORE beginning overtime. If no manager is available for approval, before you begin overtime you must get approval from a Marilyn Taylor office staff member in order to be paid properly. Call the office for assistance. If after hours, call the "after hours" number you will find on the e-mail you received with your job details for this position (the after-hours number is also on the office voicemail message.)

> At the end of each work week, calculate your total work time - regular hours and overtime separately, then grand total of all hours. (You are paid on what the manager approves so double-check your math before they sign :)

> Get manager signature on the final accounting

>  Give the manager a copy of the final, signed timecard

> E-mail your timecard to Accounting@MarilynTaylorMed.com  by Monday at noon - either scan or shoot a photo with your phone and email.

We must receive your tallied and signed timecard for each week worked by the following Monday at noon to be included in that week's payroll run.
