REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently Licensed LVN with current IV Certification

  • Must have recently worked as a Medical Assistant or LVN with 5 years or more of medical practice back office work experience

  • Work experience to include recent and extensive IV experience able to initiate IVs with a high degree of proficiency (NOT a learning opportunity!!!)

  • Willingness to support doctor and medical assistance to ensure a high level of patient care

  • Highly organized, punctual and professional with an upbeat personality

  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under direct physician supervision

  • Willingness to work with patients from all backgrounds

  • Strong English speaking, reading and writing skills


JOB DETAILS

  • Room patients and document key medical history details

  • Evaluate the patient for IV procedure and provide details about the process, expectations and followup

  • Prepare for and set up IV infusions including preparing the IV site, selecting a suitable vein, cleaning the site, stabilizing the vein, inserting the catheter, confirming placement with a blood return, and then securing the catheter with tape and a dressing. 

  • Perform the infusion including labeling the IV and documenting all details into the patient’s chart

  • Monitor patient through the entire process ensuring they are comfortable and there are no adverse effects

  • Handle prescriptions refills and patient requests as needed


SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • $37+ per hr based on work history and experience

  • M-F 8am - 5pm  

  • Benefits include fully paid PPO medical,  Aflac insurance, Paid Parking, 2 weeks/yr Vacation, 5 Sick days/year and paid Holidays

JOB DETAILS:

  • Handle the IV Infusion clinic

  • Educate patients about the procedure and what to expect

  • Set patient up for the IV, prepare, insert and monitor patient during the IV treatment

  • Evaluate patient following IV treatment for discharge and provide follow up directions and resources for assistance if needed

  • Answer patients’ questions and assist with prescriptions

  • Monitor supplies and coordinate with manager for replenishing supplies when needed

  • Assist practitioner with exams and procedures when needed

  • Assist as needed with other patient care clinical and administrative duties as needed throughout the practice

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Current and unrestricted LVN License

  • Certified and experienced in performing IV Infusion therapy

  • Willingness to assist throughout the practice as needed with tasks including medical assisting, phones, appointments and clerical duties

  • Ability to be punctual to work and support the practice in a professional manner

 

SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • M-F 40-hr work week 8am - 4:30pm

  • $37+/hr depending on experience and license

  • Prepare patients for office visit/procedures

  • Perform IV setups and blood draws monitoring the patient's condition throughout the infusion process

  • Assist in regenerative treatments and other pain management procedures

  • Confirm preoperative testing/medical clearance and patient surgical center charting

  • Hands-on mentality toward patient care with a high attention to detail

  • Educate patients on treatment plans, wellness goals, and post-care instructions

  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.

  • Coordinate referrals and document patient care service to ensure full documentation of all medical care

  • Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment

  • Collect Consents and Discharge Signatures

  • Develop genuine, personal connections with patients, offering compassionate guidance, support, and answering questions appropriately

  • Collaborate with the team and actively seek to improve the practice.

  • Supports a smooth patient flow through the practice

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current LVN license in the state of California

  • Proficiency with IV skills and blood draws

  • Previous experience in a private practice setting is preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build a rapport with  patients, ensure they understand the process and support them during their procedure

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to improving patient outcomes

  • BLS certification from American Heart Association required. 

  • 2+ years' experience in clinic or hospital setting, ideally with family or internal medicine. 

  • Proficiency in injections, EKGs and specimen handling

  • Must be computer proficient with accurate and at least moderate speed typing skills

  • EMR experience required; Athena experience highly preferred

  • Occupational health testing experience (or willingness to train) preferred

 

SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Full-time M-F 8a-5pm (plenty of time to enjoy sunset dinners at the beach!!!)

  • Compensation based on experience - $25+ for MA and more for LVN-level
