JOB DETAILS

  • Duties include greeting and assisting patients in person, monitoring the office waiting area

  • Answer calls, triage caller needs and handling as needed

  • Make and confirm appointments, E-scribing medication in Practice Fusion and CoverMy meds for prior authorization 

  • Setting up Attorneys conferences, depositions and trials, coordinating all communications and details 

  • Handling prior authorizations and ensuring patient medical forms and medical records are maintained

  • Collect and post payments 

  • Work in tandem with other staff to maintain effective communication with the doctors, coworkers, patients and vendors.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum of 1-2 years medical office experience including the handling of Medical Front Office duties 

  • Computer proficient with a 45+ typing speed and experience using an EMR system for scheduling and payment documentation with Word, Excel – delete the highlighted

  • Must possess a professional level of communication skills both verbal and written 

  • Professional mindset including punctuality, teamwork, taking initiative to handle tasks, ability to be organize and prioritize tasks with an upbeat personality
